We’ve been learning a lot about Scorpio energy this last year. Jupiter has pierced the underbelly with lightning bolts of truth & justice, & the pain & trauma that’s been buried has risen to the surface.
Scorpio is not comfortable in the stark light of day. It prefers caverns, caves, protection from a canopy. It understands privacy, protection & the power inherent in the depths of truth. Scorpio knows the reality of both power & powerlessness.
The exposure that has occurred this last year is raw & uncomfortable. It’s vulnerability front & centre & there’s no denying what we’re being asked to deal with ~ personally & collectively.
Now with Venus retrograding through Scorpio, as Jupiter packs its bags for an adventure through Sagittarius (Nov 9), we’re being challenged to not abandon our post. As uncomfortable as it feels to be surrounded by unfinished business, it’s just that: unfinished.
Venus is guiding us through some difficult waters. Scorpio is a FIXED water sign. It knows how to freeze, remain still & impenetrable. The problem with activating this response out of fear is that it disconnects us from what we want & need: deep, meaningful, trustworthy, intimate connections.
Venus wants us to remember what we value, what deserves our energy. In times of crisis, when we are bereft & overwhelmed by grief, what do we truly need? Instead of pushing away & isolating ourselves with an ice wall, take this Rx cycle as an opportunity. When we cultivate connections from a place of vulnerability, they’re based in trust that will nourish & sustain us far more than any deprivation response.
Scorpio doesn’t trust everyone, for good reason. Begin with trusting yourself & the obstacles will begin to melt away. Transformation is Scorpio’s territory, after all.
