Sagittarius is born to roam, to explore & have life’s adventures be the primary source of education. As romanticised & IG-filtered as this has become, there is a duality in the experience with Sagittarius being half human-half horse that can’t be separated.
The Moon connects us to the past, our comforts & that which is habitual, and this Sagittarius Full Moon brought home the reality of what we’re leaving behind as we leap forward into this new world. We can have the birds eye view over the state of the world & philosophise about what will & wont happen, but being present in the mourning & release of what once comforted us is the essence of The Archer having its head in the clouds & feet on the ground.
The one thing that has followed me on all these Sagittarius adventures I seem to hurl myself into again & again & again is GOODBYE. Leaving is an integral part of any adventure & loss is the constant companion of all you gain. The crossroads of realisation that something you love has to die, or that your truth no longer lies within the things that nourished you is the Holy Grail of truth that keeps those arrows straight. It’s the razors edge of living authentically.
Jupiter has been in Sagittarius all year & thank _______ for that b’cause it’s really helped us not completely sink in the misery happening in Cancer/Capricorn (that’s 2020’s job). The energy of this Full Moon allows us to dream & vision the future we want while mourning what is literally slipping through our fingers. Be bold enough to sit in both the excitement of the adventure & the vulnerability of chaos.
Choose your own adventure.
