Taurus-Scorpio eclipse video

Slash – November Rain. Guns & Roses

Eclipse season has landed with some Slashing November rain 🎸 & some surprise turn arounds. I have made a video (posted below) of some of the world events that accompanied this eclipse: flash floods, landslides, food shortages, clemency & acquittals are all part of this ongoing narrative.

Wherever you find the Taurus-Scorpio axis in your chart is where these energies will land. We can also think back to what was going on in 2003-2004 for how we might fair through this terrain. 🙃

With so much energy in fixed signs we can expect the changes to be abrupt, & disruptive to that which offers us safety & security. Let’s see how the world changes over the next 2 years.

Feel free to share the love around 💞

Gemini – Sagittarius eclipses

As if 2020 wasn’t enough already. We’re again in the vulnerable terrain of eclipse season and it’s setting the stage for 2021.

Giddyup!

Video from @horsepars

Between now and the end of 2021 we have a total of 6 eclipses, predominately in the signs of Sagittarius and Gemini: the mutable magic weavers and truth seekers. Where are Gemini and Sag in your chart? This is where you’ll find the energies playing out…and play they will! If you have Sag Rising, Sun or Moon – extra heads up!

Along the Gemini-Sag axis we seek and explore. Gemini processes vast amounts of incoming data down into energetic information that allows for multifaceted expression and understanding. Gemini reflects duality, but the duality is always indicative of the one behind the two. There is no separation. The pitfall can be playing with the illusion by trying to fill the gap, the silence, the spaces where Spirit speaks with books, mind-numbing scrolling and too many tabs open. Gemini’s challenge here is to allow the listening, the receptive energy of communication, to orient itself in meaning.

Sagittarius on the other hand explores far and wide. It seeks to go beyond the limitations of this mortal coil and reunite a connection between what we’re doing here and the Divine meaning and purpose that drives it all. Hasn’t 2020 forced us to ask wtf we’re doing on this precious planet? Our fundamental security in truth has been skewed as we are inundated with fake news, algorithms and extremism at all ends of the political spectrum. As we peel back the layers of deception within socialisation, politics, institutions and anything we’ve been told to believe, the challenge for Sag here will be to reintegrate the truth while acknowledging the pains of being wrong and mislead.

Mark your calendars as we get hit with the truth stick:

Nov 30th 2020: Lunar Eclipse 8* Gemini
Dec 14, 2020: Solar Eclipse 23* Sag
May 26, 2021: Lunar Eclipse 5* Sag
June 10, 2021: Solar Eclipse 19* Gemini
Nov 19, 2021: Lunar Eclipse 27* Taurus
Dec 4, 2021: Solar Eclipse 12* Sag

Cancer Full Moon eclipse 2020

Traditionally, eclipses have been ominous signs. They remind us of how little control we have. No amount of prayer, ritual or intention can stop the Earth passing between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on our closest neighbour.

As the earth moves betwixt two opposing forces, we edge deeper into the dance that has been unfolding since November 2018 when the Nodes moved into Cancer / Capricorn.  #cancercapricornclusterfuck

Since November 2018, we’ve seen a rise in Cancer / Capricorn themes: women in power have destabilised the existing model of authority. Mass migration and the strict policing of borders has highlighted the lands we all stand on; whose land is it and who gets to draw lines all over it, carving out territories that some people can cross in to but not others? More people now have a deeper understanding of ancestral trauma, or at least the term is rolling around looking for its place to land. As corruption rolls over and exposes its underbelly we are left with no choice but to speak truth to power. As borders shift and economies follow, we’re asked what is it we’ve really invested our security into? Failing to acknowledged the Earth as a living, breathing organism has divorced us from having a co-creative relationship it, resulting in unimaginable devastation.

This Full Moon in Cancer is calling us home. It’s highlighting what needs to be let go of while simultaneously drawing us toward our potential. Cancer wants us to come home to planet earth, home to our bodies and personal sovereignty, home to understanding our own ancestry and the lineage of the lands we occupy. We’re being pulled – tugged at from the inside and out – to find this balance.

Capricorn represents that which we’re releasing. As an earth sign it highlights our use and relationship with resources: oil, water, crop, division & ownership, bodies, money. Its governance over large functioning systems highlights just how long we’ve been living under the  oppressive rule of patriarchy, capitalism, white supremacy, heteronormativity, and how we’re simultaneously losing the voice of our elders. Capricorn is a cold, dry earth sign, and the cracks are showing. Without Cancer to balance it, Capricorn is in perpetual drought.

Astrology embraces opposites as part of the whole. Nothing is rejected. Capricorn, without its polar opposite Cancer, knows only how to use and control functional parts. Emotions are hailed as weak, uncontrollable and inferior. Most people can recall a time they felt like they had to bury their emotions to go to work. Capricorn steering the capitalistic ship fails to acknowledge that people are not robots, that Indigenous people have ongoing relationships to land, and that women and trans people have bodies that exist outside the law. Cancer reminds us that emotions hold up signposts for things that aren’t working. They lead us toward a more balanced, harmonious existence.

Cancer Full Moon Eclipse, January 10, 2020

Water is not as direct as Earth. It’s pervasive, moving through the cracks and slowly shifting things from the inside out.  There’s nothing useless about small steps. There’s no weakness is stopping, acknowledging the ways in which we’ve contributed to this narrative and choosing a different path forward. We’re all welcome home, but what we’re coming home to depends on the choices we make.

Anyone wanting to understand where the energies are occurring in your own chart, I’m offering a Year Ahead reading, drawing up a month by month personalised map.

Eclipse stirrings

What a GIFT that facegram was glitchy yesterday.

These eclipses are stirring so much, from so deep. With Mercury coming to a blazing halt in Leo, preparing itself for a retrograde rendezvous (July 8-31), the air is thick & electric.

It’s a lot.

The gift amongst the chaos is in the messages, but the ‘answers’ we’ve become so accustomed to look for are not in the same shape we’re familiar with. So much has changed.

These eclipse #mercperks are nudging us toward realignment with who we are NOW. Not based in the past, not based in what once gave us security, based in what has been revealed to us about ourselves, about family, identity, ancestry & power.

It’s. A. Lot.

If you can ~ swim in the ocean, have a salt bath, scrub off dead skin, get a hair cut, throw out old clothes. Whatever wants to unshackle, let it go & offer space for the new to arise, again & again….

Sun conjunct Uranus

The Sun & Uranus are snuggled up today, creating both excitement & instability. While some folks love the electricity & dynamic energy of ⚡️Uranus⚡️, for others it can be quite destabilising.

Since Uranus entered Taurus last year (May-Sept) we started to get an incling of that which was up for overhaul. On a personal level relationships, ideologies, employment, finances, family dynamics all started to reveal the deeper rifts of core dissatisfaction.

Now that this transit is in full swing we’re staring into the mirror of chaos; we don’t have control & the more we feed that lie, the more complicated we make the simplicity of life.

What we DO have when we allow chaos into our consciousness is creative freedom. Without desperately trying to control the winds that blow through our lives, we can remember that we are the magic ~ that it’s not something to be attained & possessed ~ & it’s not something we can manufacture, only work with.

As Uranus is often associated with ⚡️lightning⚡️ & Taurus takes on an Earthy -of the body – resourceful shape, we can re-learn what it is to live WITH nature, an integral part of it, co-collaborating. When we become conduits for the energy that’s BUSTING to come through, we step back into our 💚heart centre💚 & release the stress of trying to be, criticising & controlling.

Depending on how invested we are we might resist the changes, but Uranus ultimately wants to free us from that which inhibits. In earthy Taurus it’s calling us to WAKE UP while still in the body, to dare to meet life with fresh, open eyes & to fully dance the dance that we are!

Where does Taurus land in your chart?!

Sensitive freight

Sensetive freight

Life is just one continuous transition. There are no breaks & not one single destination. Even the ‘breaks’ are stations reorienting us from one point to the next…to the next…

There’s a lot of activity in the sky this week that can stir up lots of feels & frustrations. There’s also the desire to make sense of the most recent Mercury Retrograde cloud that passed through & hung heavy.

Being at the halfway point of this years Eclipse Seasons we have lights illuminating the road both back & forth. When / if the heavy feels land, take them as a sign post for things that are amidst transition ~ we need to create space for the new to come in by acknowledging & releasing the old.

Control is an illusion that keeps us in stuck states, so denying ourselves direct contact with our vulnerabilities & sensitivity can only create frustrating road blocks. There’s no hurry & nowhere to go!

The last of the Leo – Aquarius eclipses

Driving into the heart of this continent is nothing short of Epic. A 5 day drive that my Sagittarian feet would far prefer to walk, but are not genetically designed to do, took us from the waves lapping at the ocean shore to the fossilised rock that is the ancient sea bed. I love the desert for so many reasons; the silence, the expanse, the space, the lack of distraction that initiates an acute awareness, the lack of water simultaneously present with its tangible memory. It’s impossible to hide from yourself because you are constantly reflected everywhere.

Uluru holds great cultural & spiritual significance to the Anangu people. It extends some 6000m below ground & towers 343m above us. It’s truly immense, awe inspiring & it feels like a giant crystal pulsating magnificence. I’m so deeply grateful to be here.

We arrived at the heart of this continent on the Leo Full Moon, the sign that rules the heart, on an eclipse that acts as a bridge. The Full Moon is technically in Leo, but eclipses are defined by the Nodes of the Moon, & those Nodes are well & truly dancing along the Cancer / Capricorn axis.

This bridge is an important one. As we hurtle along into 2019, we’re building toward a critical time that will peak in 2020. The unfolding that occurs will redefine how we understand security, home, connection & the ongoing impacts of our capitalistic cis-het-patriarchal white supremist ways. This final eclipse in Leo is a reminder to sink deeper into our hearts, to not indulge the mind & fear as much as we can compassion & renegotiation.

This intensity that buiilding has me moving deeper into silence & listening. I hope for you all through this #fullmoon that you don’t deny your uniqueness, that it leads you deeper into your heart & that you carry this energy with you through the challenges that lie ahead.

Eclipse undertow

screen shot 2019-01-11 at 4.33.55 pm

The waves that are lapping at our feet right now carry the energy of the eclipse undertow. There’s a purging occurring from the inside out. There are no “little things” this week, they’re pointers to the larger issues lurking below the surface. Don’t look away, & don’t be fooled into thinking you need to control it all.

I know a lot of folks who are sick right now, or tired & depleted. Old energy is resurfacing, exposed into the conscious light of day to be purged. The eclipse this week was wedged between boss lady Saturn & break-down-to-break-through Pluto; we have to release before we can rebuild.

Take note of what you’re being drawn toward, & what you’re being challenged to leave behind – no matter how subtle. When the internet breaks & there’s no external validation…when the poles actually do shift & all you’ve got is what you’ve developed in yourself – what are THOSE things? What are you here to contribute?

We’re deepening our relationship to ourselves so that we inturn show up more authentically in the world. Project yourself forward & ask yourself what you wish you had done & see if it’s on your current to-do list. No connection or circumstance is random. Who you are & what you do now is part of an intricate web system that wants to support you; be conscious of the choices you make now because those seeds will grow.

Venus Rx in Scorpio

Look around to see what is dead or dying. The Venus Retrograde cycle is no joke, and Scorpio does not suffer fools.

Screen Shot 2018-10-14 at 3.00.14 PM

The Venus Rx cycle is a 40 day – 40 night dark night of the soul journey. It’s a fasting and a detox of our values, our relationships, the people and places we’ve poured our love and money and support into…and the stench of death and decay is wafting through.

What once brought us joy, vitality and purpose may now be a shell of its former self. We may also find, if we care to have that honest, penetrating look at ourselves, that we’ve outgrown parts of ourselves and moved on, but the situation remains; the vase is still holding up the dead flowers, but no amount of water is going to breathe life back into them.

Encompassed in this current Rx cycle is Neptune at the midpoint of its journey through Pisces, and Uranus at the midpoint of the Nodes. Midpoints are a peak of energy where we can look both back and forth; familiar enough with the energy at this stage that we know the pattern, but also aware that maturity beckons in our choices.
