We all know stories of people staying in relationships “for the children,” and we can all likely relate to having things in relationships that represent “that thing” that keeps us attached, in therapy, processing, working for and even denying what is ACTUALLY going on.
Venus is now in the fierce, rising phase of her cycle and there’s a jittery, disruptive energy in the air as the veil thins.
Uranus is stirring up the sediment down below that one offered us security and safe footing. Maybe you thought you’d made it though Venus’s journey unscathed!? What we’ve let settle and what we’ve settled for is now being weighed on the irritation scale.
We have a choice this week about what we go forward with and what we acknowledge and let go of. What are the ties that bind you? Financial contracts, relationship agreements where we spend our money and time all reflect our values. As you’ve changed since then, how have these agreements shifted also?
If you’re thinking that someone will change if only they’d go to therapy, or understand this one concept, or change this certain behaviour, you’re likely flogging a dead horse and this irritation and uncertainty is highlighting the deception.
What has died needs to be re-named, re-defined and re-leased.
Endings come in many and varied packages and they all lead to the same outcome: new beginnings.
Rise and shine!
We’ve been learning a lot about Scorpio energy this last year. Jupiter has pierced the underbelly with lightning bolts of truth & justice, & the pain & trauma that’s been buried has risen to the surface.
Scorpio is not comfortable in the stark light of day. It prefers caverns, caves, protection from a canopy. It understands privacy, protection & the power inherent in the depths of truth. Scorpio knows the reality of both power & powerlessness.
The exposure that has occurred this last year is raw & uncomfortable. It’s vulnerability front & centre & there’s no denying what we’re being asked to deal with ~ personally & collectively.
Now with Venus retrograding through Scorpio, as Jupiter packs its bags for an adventure through Sagittarius (Nov 9), we’re being challenged to notabandon our post. As uncomfortable as it feels to be surrounded by unfinished business, it’s just that: unfinished.
Venus is guiding us through some difficult waters. Scorpio is a FIXED water sign. It knows how to freeze, remain still & impenetrable. The problem with activating this response out of fear is that it disconnects us from what we want & need: deep, meaningful, trustworthy, intimate connections.
Venus wants us to remember what we value, what deserves our energy. In times of crisis, when we are bereft & overwhelmed by grief, what do we truly need? Instead of pushing away & isolating ourselves with an ice wall, take this Rx cycle as an opportunity. When we cultivate connections from a place of vulnerability, they’re based in trust that will nourish & sustain us far more than any deprivation response.
Scorpio doesn’t trust everyone, for good reason. Begin with trusting yourself & the obstacles will begin to melt away. Transformation is Scorpio’s territory, after all.
Look around to see what is dead or dying. The Venus Retrograde cycle is no joke, and Scorpio does not suffer fools.
The Venus Rx cycle is a 40 day – 40 night dark night of the soul journey. It’s a fasting and a detox of our values, our relationships, the people and places we’ve poured our love and money and support into…and the stench of death and decay is wafting through.
What once brought us joy, vitality and purpose may now be a shell of its former self. We may also find, if we care to have that honest, penetrating look at ourselves, that we’ve outgrown parts of ourselves and moved on, but the situation remains; the vase is still holding up the dead flowers, but no amount of water is going to breathe life back into them.
Encompassed in this current Rx cycle is Neptune at the midpoint of its journey through Pisces, and Uranus at the midpoint of the Nodes. Midpoints are a peak of energy where we can look both back and forth; familiar enough with the energy at this stage that we know the pattern, but also aware that maturity beckons in our choices.
The psychic airs are thick right now. Don’t deny your intuition. Don’t dilute your magic!
We’ve just slipped through the veil of the upcoming VENUS RETROGRADE cycle & the whispers are circling right in front of us! #scorpiorealness
With Saturn grinding to a hault this week, earthly reality can be challenging (to say the least), so keep those psychic – dream – messenger channels open to help guide the way.
We’re heading to the Underworld. Keep clear about what & who is going with you.
Jupiter in Scorpio is blowing up Hollywood right now.
Uma Thurman – Jupiter in Scorpio
Cory Feldman – Jupiter in Scorpio
Kevin Spacey – Jupiter in Scorpio
Harvey fuck you Weinstein – Mars in Scorpio
This is a perfect example of how astrology is great for timing the cycles of life.
“I don’t have a tidy soundbite for you because I’ve learnt…I’m not a child…and I’ve learnt that when I’ve spoken in anger, I usually regret the way I express myself. So I’ve been waiting to feel less angry, and when I’m ready I’ll say what I have to say.”
