Uranus in Taurus

Although I haven’t watched it, the “does it spark joy?” question has filtered through. Like anyone listening to these Uranus in Taurus messages, I’m getting down, closer, to that which calls me, holds value & needs to go.

Where ever Taurus lands in your chart, you understand the desire to build roots, have comfort & long lasting material security. Uranus though, has other ideas & is forcing us to renegotiate our relationship to such things.

Taurus wants to possess, hoard & maintain; allow slow change over a long period of time. Uranus wants to disrupt the status quo, abruptly freeing us from that which inhibits. Trying to control something so dynamic in a fixed capacity can only lead to a shuddering of secure foundations.

Being a conduit means you allow things to pass through. Like powerlines transmitting electricity, the cables & the electricity are not one and the same, nor are they’re trying to be. Taurus is the container for the energy of Uranus over the next 7 years; challenging our ideas of what ‘enough’ is, forcing us to identify that which truly brings us joy based on what we value & not relying on what worked in the past. #freshandnew

To be surrounded by less distractions, both inside & out, requires leaning in to trust in a more acute way.

This trip home has walked me down so many memory lanes with friends, places, food & my eternal love: motorbikes! The fact that you physically can’t carry much stuff, that the wind washes you clean of anything stuck, that it’s you (& possibly one other) & the potential offered in an open road. Need I say more?!

This Uranus transit initiated itself last May. It’s underway, & will switch gears again on the next New Moon in Pisces. For those strongly rooted in their Taurean ways, I hope you can find your conduit shape so that you can be lead by the sparks that are illuminating your road forward. If personal earthquakes rumble & you’re aware of a need to control, right there is your diamond mine. Taurus is not interested in scratching the surface, we need to dig a lot deeper. Shedding the material has a deep emotional & spiritual component, too. Don’t deny yourself.

The road is open & all maps are out the window. Where will you go with such freedom?

Shout out to Sullo for lending me her bike & to Jessika Fancy for being numero uno co-pilot.

  1. Great blog post Dru! And I seem to be in line with my stars as I shed more of what I’ve been holding on to! Lovely piece! Ride on, sister! Xo

    1. That’s so hard! Can you put the sails up and catch the breeze that’s blowing instead of the breeze you WANT to be blowing?! Sometimes when we get out of the way, there is flow.
