Moon landing eclipse~aversary

50 years ago today we (speculatively) sent 3 humans to the Moon. Wether you ‘believe’ it happened or not, something significant unfolded: we saw ourselves for the 1st time from a distance, living on a rock hanging in space. It’s impossible for human consciousness to not shift fundamentally from this point onward. #whatisthemeaningoflife

It’s interesting that this 50th anniversary occurs on a Lunar Eclipse! From the view of this image (taken by the Apollo 11 crew) the Moon is between the Earth & the Sun. These 3 celestial bodies that we rely on indefinitely ~ the Sun, the Moon & the Earth ~ all dance a dance, around & with each other, casting shadows, reflecting light & inspiring wonder. On & on.

I know a lot of folx are having hard things come up in this shadow time ~ ahoy to those who are riding high!

Eclipses stir the pot. They disturb the sediment. It has been an intense week/month/year #lezbereal .Eclipse season can bring up what we haven’t wanted to look at, distilling its poison, revealing the shadow.

Letting go occurs in so many ways & phases. It’s ok to wait for the light to return. It’s ok to have distance for perspective & detach from the stories. Remember that your feet are on the Earth & that staying grounded – or holding your ground – is part of finding your way.
